I have always shown an artistic flair, and whilst I have
had a few differing forms of employment over the years, the artistic side
of me has always come to the fore.
Art became a serious employment option around 1997, after a little persuasion
from my better half, Peter.
Since then, my professional art career has moved forwards at a heady pace... from what began as the painting of animal portraits for family and friends, to the present day,I produce over 20 original paintings per year; show my work at a number of nationwide venues; produce a large proportion of all of my own prints, many of them being sold and dispatched internationally; and mount and frame all my pieces in-house.

Paintings... I paint by inspiration and commission. My work is created using a number of different media, although I mainly use acrylic and watercolour on paper or board. I use the medium best suited to the effect I wish to achieve.
Prints... All but the largest prints are produced in-house.
A digital method of printing is employed on the finest quality digital papers
and the finest pigment inks, for light-fastness and accurate colour reproduction.
Mounts and frames... My frames and mounts are produced by me and Peter, 'the
boss', in order to maintain quality and to allow experimentation with new
and innovative ideas and effects
