Take extra photos of your pets face, particularly the eyes as they play a major part in bringing realism and character to the painting. The photos you provide should show the eyes clearly with accurate colour.

Remember - the better the photos, the better the painting!

How much does it cost?

How long will it take?
A unique pet painting can take anytime between 4 days and 4 weeks, this depends of course on how busy I am. I will try to let each individual know of the timescale.

How do I pay?
You can call me to pay by credit card or I will accept cheques made payable to Anne Read. Cheques will have to clear before the painting will be despatched.

Can I view the portrait before I pay for it?
Yes! Once the painting is complete I will email you a scanning of the painting.
Alternatively, you can have private access to part of the website to be able to follow your painting in progress.
You need not purchase if you are not completely satisfied.

How will the artwork be sent?
Unframed artwork will be sent flat packed, Framed artwork is not available.Signed for delivery will be used.

So what's the next step?
Once you have decided to have a painting commissioned just contact me by email with your requirements and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
As you can see below my prices are very competitive and are based on Head Portraits with a background wash. I can add custom backgrounds and include the whole body. Contact me for further info.

All prices include postage & packing to any mainland UK address where the portrait is unframed.

A full quote will be given prior to commencement of the painting.

Custom and larger sizes can also be commissioned, just email me your requirements and I will provide you with a free, no obligation quote.

All unframed portraits will be sent flat in hard-backed packaging.
Framed portraits will be double bubble-wrapped with protective stiff card over.

When portrait is ready I will send you digitally scanned image of your artwork for approval. At that point the remaining balance is due in full. Once the ballance is paid, matted and safely packaged drawing is shipped insured via Royal Mail to you. Feedback is greatly appreciated
